Betr Gaming, is our online sports betting business focused on simplifying and improving the user experience for the casual sports fan. Betr Gaming began with a microbetting-only product, allowing users to bet on individual plays in sports, such as the next pitch, play and basket rather than a game’s outcome, but we’re expanding its product offering to include full sportsbook capabilities. Betr Media is focused on a mix of both our original creator-driven content & premier talent, driving strong brand affinity. Betr and Jake Paul are looking for a Brand Partnership Sales & Activation Manager to source, grow, retain, and manage brand partnerships that result in revenue generation & retention. The Brand Partnership Sales & Activation Manager will have a partnership sales and account management background, direct experience working with national/international brands, demonstrated history of strategic planning and execution and experience working in sports and entertainment. The Manager will identify key prospects, build a pipeline, and negotiate to close deals across multiple industries. The candidate will create high-value partnership packages that are customized, creative and comprehensive to affect the behaviors and perceptions of the client’s target markets and will lead the activation of those packages. This is a unique opportunity where you primarily work with Jake Paul and his management team, overlapping with Betr partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Work daily with Jake Paul and his extended team
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of potential business prospects by identifying qualified leads through the business development process (prospecting, research, outreach, discovery and ideation)
  • Manage the sales process from initial touchpoint through contract execution
  • Identify local and national trends and emerging categories and adjust sales/service strategies accordingly
  • Deliver best-in-class partnership and account management for assigned Jake Paul and Betr partners, including: contract management and fulfillment, integrated promotions and activations, experiential marketing, branding, digital, television, retail, appearances, ticketing, hospitality, merchandise, etc.
  • Ideate content and its execution for activation to drive engagement for the brand partner
  • Build strong relationships with existing partners, their agencies, and internal Betr teams
  • Proactively develop incremental investment opportunities for partners
  • Develop tracking and reporting procedures to help Jake Paul, Betr and partners maximize impact of activations
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of partner businesses and draft case studies of impactful partner activations
  • Create and provide partner recap reports
  • Work with Jake Paul’s team and Betr Media leadership and talent to create & develop content, core messaging, and materials for brand themes and trends
  • Work closely with the Betr Media team to produce brand presence within our social content including social posts, podcasts, etc.

About You:

  • 5+ years working in a partnerships facing role within activations for CPG, an agency or professional sports teams. Athlete/Influencer management experience is a plus!
  • Excellent relationship building and people skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects at once
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Proven prospector and deal closer with a track record of securing initial meetings through cold-outreach
  • Experience at a high-growth startup with the ability to be flexible and comfortable pivoting quickly as needed
  • Experience building and executing against a pipeline of targets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated and able to drive initiatives from end-to-end
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational skills, the ability to be flexible, & prioritize responsibilities
  • Willing to work non-traditional hours with some travel included
