The Betr team is looking for an experienced, creative, and driven production professional with a diverse set of technical skills to help lead our tier one productions at Betr Media. A candidate with a digital-first mindset and the ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment is imperative. The Premium Video Editor will have experience in executing mid to long form shows end-to-end for digital platforms (e.g. YouTube, linear a plus but not mandatory).
This role is based in Miami, Florida. You must be based in this area or be willing to relocate to be considered for this position. It will require scheduling flexibility including working nights, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
About the Role:
- Edit and produce premium digital content for Betr Media and Betr Sportsbook
- Familiar and comfortable working with content creators and on-screen talent
- Comfortable in the field as well as a studio-based environment
- Work closely with production and social teams to make sure we achieve targets and goals
- Serve as a resource for social and programming team to optimize roll-out
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors
About You:
- 1-3 years in a similar role, at minimum
- Working knowledge of both social media platforms and digital production
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Familiar with shooting on cinematic cameras
- Experience working with content creators and talent
- Candidates should be well versed in producing. This means following the story, asking the right questions and facilitating the scene-work we need to tell an engaging narrative
- Experience with designing and laying in GFX/VFX is a huge plus
- Understanding and interest in the world of sports.
- Desire to improve upon existing skill-set
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage & ensure quality work
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational skills, the ability to be flexible, & prioritize responsibilities
