About the role
At Cast AI, we work in a flat structure that encourages open communication and collaboration across all levels. Given our cross-team structure, you will be working with top-tier professionals and have the opportunity to shape different parts of our product.
We are looking for a person with common sense who would be willing to expand their knowledge beyond frontend development and would be happy to learn more about Kubernetes and DevOps.
Requirements:
- Experience with any JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
- At least 5 years of production-grade application experience
- Strong understanding of front-end development and eagerness to expand knowledge into Kubernetes and DevOps areas
- Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with a design system.

- Our custom design system, built on Material UI, ensures visual consistency
- We use Figma as our main tool for creating designs
- Our product revolves around Kubernetes
- Our platform currently supports AWS, GCP, and Azure as cloud providers
- We use REST for public APIs
- Our continuous deployment is powered by GitLab CI with ArgoCD, embracing GitOps practices
- For observability and application stability tracking, we rely on Sentry and Grafana.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a fast-growing codebase, ensuring it's flexible, testable, and performant
- Learn best practices for Kubernetes and other DevOps practices
- Collaborate closely with the design, engineering, product, and sales teams to bring designs to life
- Contribute to the design process and actively participate in developing and maintaining our design system
- Provide and seek feedback from fellow engineers and cross-functional team members to foster continuous improvement.
