About the Opportunity: Department: Sales Direct Report: Business Development Manager Location: Tampa, FL (Ybor City) Workplace: Hybrid Schedule (M/W/F in office - T/TH remote) Summary of Job: We are seeking a Business Development Representative that is passionate about being directly responsible for the expansion of our small to medium size customer base. The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive partners. This role manages the outbound campaigns by qualifying active buying interest and identifying critical decision makers to successfully position the Chattr value proposition. BDRs who establish high performance and are strong representations of the Chattr Core Values will have great potential for new challenges and fast career advancement within sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Make 80+ outbound phone calls each day
- Execute creative outbound prospecting within your assigned accounts
- Conduct high level conversations with mid and senior level prospects, explaining the value proposition of Chattr
- Leverage sales tools such as Hubspot, Apollo, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator to network with potential customers
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, etc.)
- Gain business knowledge through researching how different industries operate, leadership structures, and pain points and challenges our clients face each day
- Collaborate with Account Executive on qualified meetings
- Attend daily huddles to celebrate wins and goals Minimum Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing environment
- Demonstrable experience and proficiency in high pressure, competitive situations
- You have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; you have a track record of giving successful presentations
- Ability to think on your feet in conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease
- Demonstrate empathy for customer struggles and challenges
- Resilient in the face of objections and rejection
- Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced and high growth environment
- Passionate about sales and sales process
- Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with prospects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone
- Willingness to try new concepts and open to coaching
- Ability to develop confidence in using programs like HubSpot and LinkedIn Technical Skills:
