About the Role

The Director, Solutions Engineering will act as a solutions and subject matter expert in the ClassWallet organization. In this role, you will share solutions knowledge with future clients through product demonstrations, presentations, technical evaluations and ongoing sales interaction. You will play a key role in supporting the sales team through leveraging solutions expertise to drive new sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand both business challenges and technical requirements of prospective clients and build the full solution, working with different departments (such as Product, Implementation, etc.) in order to facilitate clients successfully adopting the platform
  • Pre-Sales: Discovery, value-based demos, proof of concepts, technical competitive analysis in order to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds client requirements
  • Work closely with the Sales, Product, Technology and Design teams as a subject matter expert
  • Provide feedback to engineers on solutions implementation, potential improvements, gaps, and alternatives during solution delivery
  • Assist in product roadmap development by outlining client and prospect requirements and how they fit into market perspectives from product management
  • Partner with Proposal Managers and Product Marketers for RFI/RFP technical requirements language, translating technical product language into sales/prospect/RFP proposal facing language
