Account Executive — In-Person | NYC Hybrid (3+ Days/Week)

OTE: $160K+ | Uncapped Commission | Equity

We’re hiring full-cycle Account Executives to help us own the RFP market. This is an in-person/hybrid role based in New York City—you’ll be expected to work from our office at least three days a week.

Join the Future of RFP Automation

Ben and I founded Iris after our poor experience using RFP “automation” tools. This is the quietest $10 Trillion space. Yes that is correct, $10T gets transacted on RFPs every single year. Right now the biggest players in the space rely on Q&A banks. Winning against these legacy players is actually pretty easy. We’re on a mission to take over this quietly massive space. We believe the only thing holding us back is more outreach. That’s where you come in. At an early-stage startup, our AEs are gritty, creative, and hands-on builders. On any given day, you might:

  • Kickstart a POV
  • Join a call block
  • Run 3 demos
  • Sit in on a product meeting
  • Prep CS for a client onboarding

If you thrive in fast context-switching environments and don’t need hand-holding to execute, this is your kind of job.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1+ year as an SDR (or similar): you’ve got hustle in your DNA.
  • 3+ years as an AE selling enterprise SaaS. Bonus: you’ve sold GenAI tools.
  • You’ve sold to revenue leaders or owned RFP/security questionnaires.
  • You use GenAI often and for a wide range of use cases—we need to be thought leaders for our clients.
  • You embrace coaching—sharing call recordings and learning from feedback.
  • You’ve been in the arena: competitive space, fast pace, no room for fluff. You know how to differentiate with a tight process, clear storytelling, and trust-building.

In our conversation, I’ll ask about your storytelling and experience with RFPs. It’s important to us that you’ve felt the pain of losing a deal—or seeing one stall—because of these client requests.
