As part of our growth, we are seeking an experienced DevOps and SecOps Engineer to join our talented team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our AWS infrastructure, improving networking, ensuring scalability, and maintaining a strong security posture as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring best practices in security, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
  • Design, configure, and manage networking components such as VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing tables to support our growing infrastructure requirements.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of applications and infrastructure changes.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of cloud resources, proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and strategies, working closely with the development team to ensure code quality and seamless releases.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain security best practices, policies, and tools to ensure the protection of our infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate potential risks.
  • Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps, SecOps, and cloud security tools, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement across our infrastructure.
  • Document processes and procedures, ensuring that our infrastructure and operations are easily maintainable, scalable, and secure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS services, networking, scalability, and security.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing tables.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices, tools, and frameworks such as IAM, security groups, encryption, and data protection.
  • Familiarity with security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
