As part of our growth, we are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us build the next generation of data infrastructure and analytics tools to support our growth and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines using PostgreSQL and other data processing technologies.
• Optimize SQL queries, database structures, and indexing strategies to ensure high performance and maintainability.
• Configure, monitor, and manage DataDog for application and infrastructure performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven insights and support data-related initiatives.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Identify, evaluate, and integrate new tools and technologies to improve data engineering processes and platforms.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on data-related issues to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on SQL query optimization and - PostgreSQL database management.
• Experience with configuring and managing DataDog or similar monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of data pipeline and ETL concepts, tools, and best practices.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or other relevant languages.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
