Account Executive - Trucking (Bilingual in English/Spanish is required)

We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive for our Trucking line of business. The ideal candidate shares our customer obsession, and ensures we do right by our customers and our team members. This is a direct quota-carrying role that requires prospecting and closing new business, and reports to the Head of Sales, Trucking.

What you'll be doing:

  • Take great care of prospects and customers by understanding their business needs and how Lula’s value proposition translates meaningfully to them and their businesses.
  • Drive revenue by consistent successful attainment of monthly new bookings quota.
  • Strive to get better every day, coachable, and continuously improving.
  • Actively manage your pipeline of leads and qualified opportunities within the CRM tool.
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene in order to capture customer feedback and accurately forecast.
  • Maintaining controllable inputs for self prospecting top of funnel leads and growing pipeline.
  • Exhibit strong solution selling skills with opportunity qualification, discovery, product demo, quoting, follow-up, objection handling and closing tactics.
  • Adhere to our built sales processes and look to contribute to the enhancement and optimization of the sales process and broader go to market.
  • Collaborate with peers (both inter and cross-departmental) to work cohesively as a team.

What you'll bring:

  • Licensure to write insurance in all 50 states is highly preferred.
  • Experience in /selling to the trucking industry is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to hyper-growth SAAS environments is preferred.
  • Proven track record in high velocity sales. High level of consistent organization.
  • A pioneering and builder's mindset full of grit, resilience, agility and perseverance.
  • Strong company values fit. High level of ownership and accountability.
  • Constant desire to want to be the best version of yourself and continually learn and improve.
  • Technology-savvy: Experience with SFDC, Outreach, Gong, Google Suite, Confluence
  • Team player: Constantly sharing learnings and best practices, as well as trying and applying those shared from teammates and continuous working collaboratively cross-functionally to ensure the best business outcomes.

Compensation Package

The annual US base salary range for this role is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

The company also covers medical, vision, and dental insurance, flexible time off + paid holidays, and equity + 401(k) plan.
