This role will have high impact potential within the Marco team. We are a fast-paced and client-driven organization with offices located in New York, Miami, and Montevideo. We operate cross-functionally on a variety of levels within the business and our clients.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and results-oriented Sr. Business Development Officer with a proven track record to join our LatAm Business Development team. Your primary responsibility will be to increase new business by identifying, sourcing and closing viable prospects for Factoring and Asset Based Lending deals across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of financial markets, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth through business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Increase new business by identifying, sourcing, and closing viable prospects for our financial services
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of referral sources and direct prospects
  • Consolidate insights and feedback to improve the retention of customer base
  • Act as a liaison between prospective clients and the underwriting/credit/operations departments
  • Prepare, present and negotiate financing proposals and documents for/with prospective clients and our underwriting team. Present deals to Credit Committee
  • Collaborate with credit, underwriting, marketing, operations and senior management and report on key metrics to provide guidance on best practices to help drive revenue growth
  • The position requires the ability to exercise a high level of independent initiative and focused determination


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of business development experience
  • English Fluency
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are not afraid to think outside of the box to come up with creative solutions
  • Are a team player
  • Are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to get the job done
  • Consistent track record of hitting and exceeding quotas
