Sales Account Executive (Remote) - Based in Texas

Who We Are

PikMyKid is a fully-funded education technology company based in Tampa, Florida and the gold standard in school dismissal software, school safety and operational management. Our team consists of a group of high-performing, driven individuals who are all entrepreneurial in their outlook with a vested interest in our company's success. We're looking to add an experienced account executive for the South Region of the US for our team as we move to the next phase of growth as a company. This position requires experience in working in the Texas edtech market calling into schools and district stakeholders along with other states surrounding Texas.

Who You Are

● Entrepreneurial sales professional with 5-10+ years experience selling in edtech

● Have a track record of exceeding sales targets and growing and managing your pipeline for success

● A “Hunter” role with a love for seeking “new” business opportunities

● Excellent communicator who can build relationships with key stakeholders (including C-Suite) in the K-12 market and who has success selling small to large school districts as well as school leaders

● Driven, has grit, is resilient, has a competitiveness to “Win” and is personable and empathetic

● Gets excited about presenting technology and working for a mission-driven company

● Team player who collaborates with team members and is open and transparent

● Coachable and loves learning

Job Responsibilities

● Own and manage revenue growth in your own sales region

● Prospect “new” business – a true “hunter” role

● Prospect to build territory pipeline to exceed goals & strategize an effective outreach initiative

● Build relationships with school level to C-level district leaders in the US

● Manage and grow pipeline 3x-5x to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

● Work through sales process from qualify to closewon & successfully communicate value proposition

● Deliver an outstanding technology demonstration w/timely customer follow-up and data entry in CRM

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

● High performer with at least 5-10+ years of “educational sales” experience

● Executive presentation skills in selling software

● Has worked cross functionally with CS, Support, Product and SDR teams previously

● Has used Salesforce or CRM and other sales enablement tools for planning and tracking

● Familiar with “Challenger” sales

● Up to 50% Travel

Compensation Package

● Salary + Commission based on individual performance
