We are looking to hire a talented developer to build, improve, and manage various user-facing features in our fast-growing SaaS training and hiring app. We help individuals and companies navigate the human side of digital transformation by providing data literacy and data science training and assessments.

This posting is for a full-time Ruby on Rails Developer with US work authorization as a W2. It is not open to freelancers or agencies.

QuantHub is built on Ruby on Rails. The application is a Rails monolith with interactivity through Hotwire/Turbo/Stimulus. We do not use React, Vue or Ember. Ideal candidate is a full-stack developer. Experience with Hotwire a plus. Experience with Tailwind a plus. Experience building accessible UI a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing new web, mobile, and chatbot features
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing existing app features
  • Writing production-grade code
  • Building back-end components
  • Writing integration tests
  • Collaborating with our team of developers to align efforts to ensure efficiency and quality

Requirements

Requirements
  • Extensive experience developing in ruby on rails
  • Proficiency with Git (Gitlab preferred)
  • Ability to write tests in RSpec
  • Proficiency in working with application databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

Preferred
  • Familiarity with Python and Flask
  • Experience in Microsoft Bot Framework
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services
  • Familiarity with machine learning engineering
