About REBEL
REBEL is the first and largest tech platform transforming retail’s $1 trillion returns problem into a smarter, more sustainable model. As the only Certified B Corporation returns recommerce marketplace backed by top-tier investors, we’re leading the returns revolution—partnering with over 2,500 top brands to give shoppers unbeatable deals of up to 70% off on open-box products, while keeping millions of pounds of returns out of landfills every year.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. At this time we are only able to consider candidates who are based in Connecticut, Georgia, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, or Washington.
The Role
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead the evolution of REBEL’s warehouse technology and customer-facing platforms (website and app). In this hybrid role, you’ll partner with engineering, operations, design, and leadership to deliver scalable solutions that power our fast-growing marketplace, from how we process products behind the scenes to how customers discover and shop them online.
You’ll own both the internal systems that keep REBEL running efficiently and the digital experience that brings our brand to life for millions of smart shoppers.
What You’ll Do
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for REBEL’s operational systems, website, and mobile app.
- Partner with warehouse, merchandising, and marketing teams to streamline the full lifecycle, from product intake and quality control to listing, pricing, and customer purchase.
- Collaborate with engineering and design to deliver intuitive, high-performing experiences across web and app that reflect REBEL’s mission, values and business goals.
- Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and technical specs that align backend systems with frontend experiences.
- Analyze metrics across both domains, from warehouse throughput and QC accuracy to site conversion, engagement, and repeat, by being the sounding board on whether our initiatives are moving the needle towards our KPI goals.
- Attend regular cadence meetings with division leads to ensure their product asks are delivered as desired, hitting KPIs, and that any new changes/requests are prioritized accordingly and are aligned with REBEL’s strategic initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–7+ years of product management experience in ecommerce, logistics, or operations technology.
- Experience managing consumer-facing platforms (website or app) and backend operational systems.
- Strong understanding of fulfillment workflows, quality control, and ecommerce UX principles.
- Familiarity with some AI, automation, or computer vision tools that can improve efficiency or product presentation.
- Proven ability to bridge business, design, and technical teams, delivering solutions that scale.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort in defining and interpreting KPIs across operational and customer funnels.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Someone that gets excited to be part of a ‘try stuff’ and ‘fail-fast’ culture.
- Bonus: Experience in off-price marketplaces, recommerce, or Shopify-based ecosystems and UX/UI design.
Why You’ll Love Working at REBEL
- Purpose with impact: Join a Certified B Corporation solving the $1T returns crisis and helping consumers Shop Smarter™ while keeping millions of pounds of product out of landfills.
