Summary
Theoris is assisting our client in their search for a Compliance Coordinator to support ongoing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) and PCI compliance initiatives. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination for compliance activities, helping drive evidence collection, audit readiness, and documentation efforts across multiple efforts and teams.
The client is seeking someone who understands IT compliance requirements and can effectively coordinate with control owners, gather supporting documentation, track deliverables, and ensure audit requests are completed accurately and on time. The position combines elements of compliance administration, project coordination, and audit support in a fast-paced environment.

This individual will serve as the central point of coordination for compliance activities, helping drive evidence collection, audit readiness, and documentation efforts across multiple efforts and teams.
The client is seeking someone who understands IT compliance requirements and can effectively coordinate with control owners, gather supporting documentation, track deliverables, and ensure audit requests are completed accurately and on time. The position combines elements of compliance administration, project coordination, and audit support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate SOX 404 and PCI compliance activities across multiple business and technology teams.
- Work directly with control owners and process stakeholders to request, collect, and validate audit evidence.
- Review submitted documentation for completeness and accuracy before providing to auditors.
- Track evidence requests, deliverables, due dates, auditor feedback, and remediation items using spreadsheets and compliance tools.
- Maintain compliance documentation, templates, and audit support materials.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and compliance narratives for leadership and audit teams.
- Organize compliance artifacts within SharePoint, Workiva, JIRA, and other collaboration platforms.
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Codex to improve documentation quality and operational efficiency.
- Assist with additional privacy, risk, governance, and compliance-related initiatives as needed.
- Experience supporting SOX (404 )and/or PCI compliance initiatives. Understanding of IT controls, compliance evidence requirements, and audit processes.
- Background in compliance, audit coordination, project coordination, IT governance, risk management.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with SharePoint, JIRA, Workiva, or similar compliance/project management tools.
- Experience utilizing AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or similar technologies.
